TransTools for PowerPoint


TransTools for PowerPoint is a special add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint. It contains a number of useful tools for various translation tasks.

Features overview

  • Tag Cleaner: re-formats your PowerPoint presentation in order to minimize tags displayed when you import it into your CAT tool. Tag Cleaner is a must if you need to translate a PowerPoint presentation converted from a PDF document.
  • Unbreaker: helps you find incorrect paragraph and line breaks in PowerPoint presentations and quickly remove them, preventing segmentation and tag issues in your CAT tool.
  • Change Language: makes it easy to apply a specific spellchecking language to an entire presentation or in selected slides, textboxes or text.

How does it work?

Once installed, TransTools for PowerPoint integrates in Microsoft PowerPoint ribbon:

TransTools Add-In group in PowerPoint 2007 or later

You can run any tool by clicking its button from TransTools ribbon as shown above. If you need to use one of these tools frequently, you can right-click it and choose 'Add to Quick Access Toolbar' to make it easily accessible.
