The commands in this section are designed to help in the following situations:
- translating standard template-based spreadsheets, e.g. software-generated reports, equipment datasheets, schedules, cost estimates, etc.;
- translating text in text boxes.
|Extract Translatable Text
||Extract all unique translatable text (cell values & text from textboxes) from selected worksheets in the current workbook. The results are placed in a new Excel worksheet or Word document.
||Extract all unique translatable text from worksheet(s) to create a translation table. This translation table can then be used to quickly translate this document or similar documents using Translate using Translation Table command.
|Translate using Translation Table
||Uses a translation table to replace multiple cells in the current workbook with new text.
- Translate technical documentation (esp. documents generated by software).
- Translate huge workbooks that cannot be handled by CAT tools.
- Selectively translate only specific cells by marking them with a specific font color.
